All these details are very helpful when you are planing to purchase a domain name from someone else and no one can fool you.

You will get to know all the details like who is the real owner of a website, their home address, contact info, from whom was this purchased, where is the hosting server, domain server names, from whom it has been registered like GoDaddy in my case. When was the domain name created and when will this expire. This will help if you want to place back order or if you are interested in purchasing that domain then you can even contact site owner directly to purchase it from them.

Above screenshot shows details of this blog. The data can be misused like the contact info and address are few things which some people don't like making it public. There is a way to make these info private but that service by your hosting company would cost a bit. Please go through the terms and conditions as the hosting company will not allow this data to be misused.
