Email services like Gmail offer a maximum limit of 32 MB as attachment, but what if you want to send large files via Email for free. There are ways to do that but most of them are not free.

Dropbox has enough free space for every user but they do not have an email service. The solution for this is to use SendtoDropbox which will help users to send large files via Email to Dropbox. Developers of this app have used Dropbox's API and this app will create unique email ID for you once you login with your Dropbox account which you can use to send large files via Email to Dropbox. This comes in handy when you cannot access Dropbox and will be an alternative way to upload all your files. Once you login to SendtoDropbox using your Dropbox ID, a folder named "Attachments" inside Apps folder will be created  by default. If you delete Attachment folder by mistake, then sign in to you SendtoDropbox account to retrieve this folder. You even have an option to rename and move the Attachment folder and this will not have any impact on the functionality to send to Dropbox.

The only thing that you need to keep in mind is SendtoDropbox does not enforce any size limit when you send a file, but many SMTP servers do enforce an outgoing limit. So, if you are using Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail or any other email service which has an outgoing limit then they may reject emails larger than this before it could ever even reach SendtoDropbox servers. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
