I use Google Chrome at home, on my android device, at office. I login to different machines and all that I do is sync data using Chrome. Recently, I had to upgrade my office laptop with the latest operating system and it was not a pain for me to export all my book marks or passwords, all the apps that I had installed from Chrome store. I did not have to export and import anything during this upgrade and also, I don't do any of the things manually its all done by my Google Chrome browser. I see that it's the same with most of the latest versions of browsers these days. As you can see here in this image I have used Google Chrome browser.

If you want to do that same then go to Google Chrome browser>> Settings>> Sign in>> Sign in to Chrome. Now enter your Gmail user ID and password to login to your Google account. You will have an option to select "Sync Everything" and click OK. You can go to advanced sync settings to select what to sync and what not to sync. You can always come back to this settings and change the settings.
