What ever be your operating system, all that you will have to do is install Google Chrome Browser and install Chrome Remote Desktop app from Chrome Store, which allows you to setup your computer for secure remote access by using access code. This includes setting up your computer so that you can access it anytime from another machine or you can also use the app to let a friend or your parents remotely access your computer temporarily, perfect for times when you need help solving a computer problem. Provides remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows (XP and above) and Mac (OS X 10.6 and above) desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks as per Google. The only thing that is mandatory is both machines should be running Chrome Remote Desktop app on Google Chrome browser.
The best thing about Chrome Remote Desktop is that its completely free, fully supports cross platform - as it's not dependent on the operating system and just the chrome browser, it supports different languages. I have used this app and it's very simple and easy to setup remote desktop connection. It's connectivity was fast, smooth and even streaming of music and movies were perfect. I'm interested in knowing how Google would come up with an app to setup remote connection on Android device.
Wow ! I had no clue about such an app on chrome! your posts always enlighten me with something new as always !!
