Cookie is a piece of data sent from website and stored in user's browser while browsing the website in his/her local machine. Websites can easily monitor user's activities when they access the website again in future by sending the cookie back to website. Browser cookies can also store password and forms that a user has entered. I will not be explaining more about Cookie here as you can always go to Wikipedia and search for this info. Now that you have browsed too many websites, you will have too many browser cookies stored in your local machine. There is a simple and easy way to manage and edit each of these cookies.
If you are using Google Chrome browser then download and install an extension named - "Edit this Cookie" from Chrome Store. This extension is a cookie manager and you can add, delete, edit, search, protect and block cookies. You even have an option to export cookie in JSON, Netscape etc and import cookie in JSON. The best thing is you can set, modify or extend expiry date of any cookie. There is an option to flag a cookie and to set as read only. If you have modified something by mistake then you can always go back and click on reset to restore back to the original settings.

This is very useful for a tester or a web developer as they usually play around with browser cookies. Features included in this extension are extensive. Give it a try and leave a comment if you find this extension useful.
