How to do region specific post share on Facebook Page

Facebook post share by default is a public and we did not have any other option of sharing to a specific group until Google had come up with Google Plus. In Google Plus we have something called circles where you can create multiple circle or groups of your friends, family, offfice friends etc and while sharing post you get this option to share it with individual circle and also make it public. People liked the security and privacy level that users had while posting in Google Plus. In no time, we had similar options available on Facebook too.

The sharing options that you find on Facebook Page and your profile are a bit different. By default, both have public option, but in Facebook Page  there are no other options to share with friends or family as you are in a page and not your profile. There is another option named Location/Languages as shown below. The below image is from my Facebook photography page on Facebook [Link] where I wanted to share a photo.

Facebook Page share options

Using this option you can either share your Faceboon Page post everywhere without specifying any specific location or you can select a state or province or the local city. Say you are a wedding photographer in Bangalore city location, then the third option would be the best as you customers will be from that city. There is another option named 'Languages'. Say, you have a local evening newspaper business which is in local language - Kannada. And you want this post to be shared to all those who know this language on your Facebook Page then this is the best option to choose.

Note that if you have already shared a post which is public then when you try to reshare the post that is already shared then all the other options are disabled as the content is already public. Hence, the default option will be 'Everywhere' and all other option.
