How to work with Google Forms

Wanted to create a form and send it to your friends, here is the way to do that for free. With Google Forms you can collect RSVPs, run a survey, or quickly create a team roster with a simple online form. Create simple or in-depth online surveys and share them from a link, embed them on your website, or even right inside an email.

Creating a new Google form is simple and easy. You can create forms quickly with keyboard shortcuts and auto-saved changes. It's possible to work together with your friends or co-workers to build forms in real-time. Just invite people and they can respond via email and social networks. All responses to your questions are neatly organized in a spreadsheet, so sorting and analyzing data is a snap. You can do a detailed analysis by sending responses to a spreadsheet. With Google Drive app available for mobile devices and also as extension to chrome you can access Google Sheets anywhere with all the Google forms organized.

Steps to create a form:





  1. Go to Google chrome web store.


  2. Search for Google Forms and install it.


  3. Click on Google Forms from your browser to launch this app.


  4. Choose title and theme. There is a default theme and you have the option to change it any time.


  5. One the theme is selected and title is entered, enter other details like description, question title, help text, question type, you can customize Confirmation Page.


  6. Check if all the details that you have entered are correct and then click on Send Form.


  7. There is an option to share the link on Facebook, Google and twitter.


  8. You have an option to send an email and also embed to your site with a link to Google Docs.
