How to find your Twitter unfollower

Qwitter - find twitter unfollowerIf you have a twitter account and have many followers following you then that's good but how to find your Twitter unfollower. Usually we look at the number of followers growing but this number can go down when someone stops following you on Twitter. There are few followers who follow your for few hours or days after which they unfollow just to increase their followers but I'm not sure if that will really get them any good quality traffic.

It's easy to find Twitter followers but hard to find your Twitter unfollower when you don't keep an eye on your twitter follow count. There are many third party apps developed using Twitter APIs to monitor such activity. One such app is Qwitter which uses Twitter API to access your information on Twitter with your permission. Using this app you can easily find out your Twitter unfollower. Qwitter compares your followers on a weekly basis and then will send you weekly email notifications when someone unfollowes you on Twitter. To signup to this app all that you need to do is authorise this app to via Twitter.

This a good app and is available as free and Pro or paid version. With the free version you can track only one Twitter account, check your unfollowers and also get weekly updates. And with the Pro version (2 US$ per month), has more features like tracking multiple twitter accounts, you can check all your Twitter unfollower and followers, you get updates daily and also adds notes to see which tweets are more effective. You can try the Pro version which is free for 30 days.

I would recommend using this just to keep spammers away. What they generally do is follow you and once you follow back they will unfollow you. That's a bad practice and will not build good quality traffic to your website. Also, Pro version is not very expensive and can be used when you have more than one twitter account to monitor and also, you will know how each tweet has performed and check how effective it is. Give it a try and let me know if you are using any other app by leaving a comment.

  5. I joined Justunfollow. Weekly I received a tweet that someone unfollowed. Did my whole list get that tweet, too? It has really worried me. I dont want my whole list of followers to see that tweet. Do they see that tweet that Justunfollow tweets to me? Please send an answer asap. I might have to unjoin the Justunfollow.
