If you have been blogging for a while then you might have understood by now as to why it is better to have your own domain and hosting and build your own website. You don't have to spend money to get your website built by some third party. There are enough number of Wordpress themes that are available both free and paid. Free templates are good enough, but if you want some very good responsive and SEO friendly themes then there are enough number of paid themes as well.

Akismet - This plugin will check all the comments that are made on your blog. Akismet will check this comment against it's web service to check if the comment is a spam or not. It is one of the best plugins that can scan your comments and keep you away from spammers. I recommend using this plugin if you get too many comments, but if you hardly get any comments or less than 10-20 comments a day then it would be better to handle it on your own.
