How to move photos across different Google Plus albums

Have too many albums on Google plus (or picasa) with too many photos? What if some of the photos are not in the right album or maybe you had uploaded photos to a folder sometime earlier and now you want some of the photos in an album to be moved to a different album.

Well, this is a common issue most of them had and what most of them do is delete a photo from the old album and upload the photos to the new album which is a tedious task. In Google plus, you can move or copy photos form one album to another just like how you move and copy one file from a folder to another. Yes. it is that simple.

move images in google plus

Here is how you can do it:

  • Open the Google plus album

  • Hover over the photos in the album and you will find a check mark to the top left corner of the photos.

  • Select the check mark, a blue bar appears on top with muliple options like Delete, Move, Copy.

  • You can select multiple photos or just one. Now click on 'Move'.

  • A window (pop-up) will appear with an option to create a new album or to select one of the already created albums.

  • That's it, the photos are automatically places in the right album that you want.

This is a very good option for page owners or even if you have a profile. The reason is when you upload a photos there will be lot of likes, +1s and comments. When you move from one album to another all these will remain as it is and will not be deleted, which is not the case if you were to delete a photo and re-upload a photo in the new album.
